This week, we are playing with pictures again! I kind of like this, because we get the chance to see the creative side of the participants.

I wasn't home that much over the summer, and that's ok by me. It's been a weird year so far, so why interrupt that pattern? Right off the bat, our family took a trip to San Diego, then I was back home for just enough time to do laundry and pack up for another 10-day trip. I brought my mom up to my house for a stay after that, and she went back home about 10 days ago. Wii Lad started school today. Summer just rushed by!
The really odd thing is that I haven't listened to much music and I've only puchased a few cds. Yes, the iPod or the radio is on in the car, but that's about the extent of my listening over the past couple of months. Blame the weird year.
If I had to pick some tunes to give this summer a soundtrack, I guess these would be on it: R.E.M. - Supernatural Superserious Mudcrutch - Crystal River Miranda Cosgrove - Stay My Baby - Ok, this one needs explanation. Wii Lad loves that iCarly show (hey, to each his own,) and I bought the soundtrack cd for him. He insisted on playing the thing in my car, so I think I might know the words to some pretty crappy songs. This is one I find the least crappy, and it's even kind of catchy.
