TMZ contacted a rep from the company that monitors the SCRAM bracelet who said, "I didn't even know she was arrested."

Law enforcement sources say Lohan was cooperative in jail. We're told she was very upset.

A law enforcement source at the Santa Monica jail tells TMZ "she did just about everything we asked."

So what didn't Lindsay do? She refused to submit to a PASD -- Preliminary Alcohol Screening Device. That's a chemical test administered in the field to determine blood alcohol levels.

We're told cops did administer a walk-the-line test, and Lindsay flunked.

Filed under: Celebrity Justice, Lindsay LohanLaw enforcement now says Lohan was stopped after cops got a call of a vehicle being chased by another vehicle. The chasing vehicle was being driven by Lohan.

Lohan was driving a white Denali. She was chasing a Cadillac Escalade.

She was initially suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol. A field sobriety test was conducted and she was subsequently arrested for DUI.

At the station, a search of her person was conducted, and cocaine was found in her pants pocket.

A breath test was conducted and her blood alcohol was between .12 and .13.

Sources say her blood alcohol level was between .12 and .13, well over the .08 legal limit.

Filed under: Celebrity Justice, Lindsay LohanLindsay Lohan was arrested for drunk driving in Santa Monica early this morning -- her second bust in less than three months.

According to the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept., 21-year-old Lohan was nailed around 2:15 AM near Pico Boulevard and Main Street early Tuesday morning.

Just last week, Lohan was quietly booked by Beverly Hills PD for an alleged Memorial Day weekend DUI crash. She was due back in court on August 24 to face charges of driving with a blood alcohol level greater than .08 and misdemeanor hit and run.

Lindsay just turned 21 -- legal drinking age -- earlier this month. She's been voluntarily wearing a SCRAM alcohol monitoring bracelet for the past couple of weeks, even flaunting the device during a recent beach outing in Malibu.

Filed under: Train Wrecks, Britney SpearsTMZ has learned that Britney's self-arranged photo shoot and interview with OK! Magazine was a complete disaster. We're told that the photos are so bad, execs at the magazine are, at this moment, trying to decide whether to report what actually happened -- or sanitize the truth to protect the pop train wreck.

According to multiple sources, Britney's behavior during the interview was "nothing less than a meltdown." She was, according to our sources, "completely out of it" during the shoot. The photos are "so bad" we've learned, that to publish them could "kill her career." Apparently, Brit Brit's eyes rolled back in her head at one point, causing her to look half dead. Her mood, we're told, was extremely erratic. She took frequent bathroom breaks our source says, and each time she returned her mood would change. She was also completely paranoid during the entire interview, fearing at one point the ceiling was about to cave in on her. Out of control y'all!

We've also learned that Brit had some issues with hygiene on the set as well. At one point, Britney ordered up some fried chicken to munch on. We're told after she chowed down, she wiped her hands on a several thousand dollar Gucci dress that she was wearing for the shoot, staining it with grease. Yuck! One of her dogs also needed some assistance in the housebreaking department. Our on-set spy says that the dog pooped all over the floor, and Brit used (what else?) -- a Chanel dress to clean it up! How trashtastic!

Filed under: Train Wrecks, Wacky and WeirdTMZ has learned that Jason "Gummi Bear" Davis has entered an outpatient treatment program at Promises rehab.

After a spectacular series of appearances on TMZ, and bouncing around the club scene for many months, the portly oil heir and brother of Greasy has apparently decided to get clean -- with professional help this time. Earlier this month, Gummi reported that he's working on a number of projects, but wasn't very specific.

Promises has been the site of various celeb rehabs of late, including Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears, among others.

You can't keep a good bear down! Go Gummi!

A rep for Gummi could not be reached for comment. When asked if Davis had, in fact, checked in, a rep for Promises told us they could neither confirm nor deny that information.

UPDATE: A source tells us that Gummi will be receiving outpatient detox treatment with daily counseling.
